Sugar Brown Babe

Perhaps one of the most well known horses in the yard. This little mare certainly needs no introduction. Sugar Brown Babe started with us as a five year old back in 2007. We started out together in the ei100 classes and went on to compete in several internationals such as Blenheim, Boekelo, Belton, Blair Castle and lots more. We competed in Badminton on two occasions in 2013 and 2014 (the first horse I ever went around Badminton on). The super mare racked up 739 points before she moved to her new owners where she continued to compete in dressage etc...Last year she decided to turn her hoof to becoming a brood mare, with the super cute foal being born in May this year. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for the foal,  if it’s half as good as it’s Mam it will be a cracking horse.

Stellor Skipon (Chilli)

Stellor Skipon (Chilli) was an exceptional young horse and a very talented jumper. He began competition life as a five year old placing third in the Stepping Stones To Success League. He went on to qualify for the Rds where he put in an excellent performance in Dublin. Chilli competed in six events moving up to 2star level. He only knocked one pole out of all his events. He moved on to his new owner in 2018 and does a mixture of eventing and show jumping with her.

The Underdog

The underdog was a 2001 gelding who started competing with Sarah Ennis Eventing in 2006. He started out in the four and five year old classes and competed all the way up to three star amassing 239 eventing points in the process. He competed very well in the Lyon D'angers World Championships in 2008. He went on to compete with an amateur rider Claudia O Donoghue very successfully after that.

Shanbo Queen Bee

A beautiful mare owned by Jo Corkery, Shanbo Queen Bee was a 2006 mare by the world renowned stallion Master Imp. Bee only started eventing as a seven year old but flew up through the levels and competed all the way to four star, racking up some fantastic results along the way. Bee competed in several international events with much success. She is now going to be a brood mare. Her off spring are sure to be exciting prospects for the future.

Cooley Cosmopolitan Diamond

Without a doubt one of the most talented horses ever in the yard. Cooley Cosmopolitan Diamond (Sting). A 2011 gelding by Canturo he really had everything going for him. Fantastic paces, amazing jump, super cross country and a fantastic trainable temperament. He progressed all the way to 3star coming ninth in his first long format 3star in Belton in 2018. Like many of the other yard youngsters Sting started out competing in the stepping stones league followed the Rds qualifiers and competing in Dublin itself where he finished in second place. He then progressed up through the eventing and show jumping levels from there. He placed almost every time out with two firsts, five seconds, two thirds, a fourth and a seventh placing, almost always double clear.  He has gone on to Swedish rider Sofia Sjoberg who is based in Germanu with Michel Jung and he currently competing with great success. I love watching the pair progress as Sting is missed in the yard every day. (James still says Sing is his favourite horse) I have no doubt the two will have a hugely successful career ahead of them.

Khaleesi.jpg

MTH Shannondale Khaleesi

MTH Shannondale Khaleesi was a super mare who only joined the yard as a six year old. This didnt top Khaleesi from progressing quickly through the ranks. In one season she progressed to two star level and won four of her eight starts. Her dressage was foot perfect and she scored in the twenties in every single test. She never had a cross country fault and rarely tipped a pole. Khaleesi was a super mare. She was sold to America and is living life to the full on the other side of the water having great fun with her new owners.

Deroon Diplomat

Deroon Diplomat was a really special horse who came to us in his fifth year. Dougal was such a good natured and sweet horse who always tried his best and was so eager to please his rider. He was such a nice character to have in the yard, both on the ground and when being ridden. He progressed through the Rds qualifiers where Nicola competed him in the Rds and he put in a fantastic performance. Dougal competed in eight events throughout the season. He had a dressage personal best of 17.8, all of his other scores in the low twenties. He was a really great type and performed amazingly at each event, only knocking one pole all season, winning four of his events and placing second in three other events. He is now with Joseph Murphy competing at two star level very successfully. Keep an eye out for this horse in the future!!

Marbridge Diamond Imp

Marbridge Diamond Imp was a cracking little mare who joined the yard as a five year old in 2017. She competed very successfully in the Stepping Stones To Success League and followed this up in the Rds qualifiers and in Dublin itself where she put ni excellent performances. Quite a small mare, Coco was very talented with a very big jump. She placed in four of her six events with us and regularly scored in the low twenties and never touched a pole in any of her events. She went on to Sophie Alexander. The two competed in several events in British Eventing and are currently competing up to two star in Ireland, having recently gone double clear in their first international event together. Its great to see the pair progress together.
