Meet the horses...........
Below is a brief description of my current horses in the yard. There are a good variety of horses ranging from four year olds to five star horses. Keep an eye on the page for more info on my past horses to be added soon. I have been so lucky to ride some amazing horses down through the years and am equally lucky to have some fantastic horses currently in the yard.
Horseware Stellor Rebound - 2004 gelding
Sire: Vdl Ricochet
Dam: not recorded
Horseware Stellor Rebound needs no introduction. Rocket by name, and rocket by nature. Currently boasting 969 eventing points, he has been with Sarah since the start of his career. The pair competed in the Rds young horse classes and went from strength to strength from there on. They competed in several international events, European Championships and World Equestrian Games with top placings. The highlight of their career to date in winning a silver medal in the World Equestrian Games in Tryon in September 2018. He produced a hat tricky of results winning the last three cic4*s at Ballindenisk International. Rocket really is the horse of a lifetime.



Blm Diamond Deluxe - 2003 gelding

Breeder: Katy Murphy
Murphy, as he is known to his friends is another top horse in the yard. He started competing him as a five year old in 2008 and he went all the way to 5 star level competing at both Badminton and Burghley very successfully. In recent years he has turned his hoof to show jumping and has competed in several grand prix competitions around the country. Murphy is 18 this yea. As a 16 year old heenjoyed coming back to the eventing scene placing third in Kilguilkey international and sixth in Camphire International. What a horse!! Murphy is now training up headgirl Emily and teaching her the ropes.

Tyson as he is known around the stable is the current yard superstar having just competed in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics helping the irish team finish an excellent eight position. Owned by Breda Kennedy, he has proven time and time again he is an extremely talented horse, winning bronze medals on two nations cups teams in 2018 and achieving a fourth place in Ballindenisk international in April 2019 and a second place in the cic4* long later that season. His results speak for themselves, he is super consistent and a proper jumping machine. He would perform equally well in pure showjumping, he is scopey, brave and careful. All the attributes you would want in an event horse.

Smurf is a homebred eight year old. He started eventing as a five year old where he was never out of the placings. The highlight of his year was placing third in the Rds in a very competitive five year old event horse class. He has porgressed up through the levels over the last few years. He had a top placings in several internationals and progressed easily to ei115 again with many wins and placings at both national and international level. Recently he has taken to teaching headgirl Emily the ropes. The two competed together at Frankfort placing second on their first run together and Emilys eventing debut.

Grantstown Jackson

Owned by Susanne Francke and Peter Cole, Jackson is an eight year old gelding who only started in the yard in 2018. He had many successful runs last season with several wins and placings at 2 and 3 star level. He placed in his first event of this season and made the move jump to 3star level where he is currently competing very successfully with many wins and placinhs. He is a super mover and always does a fantastic test and thoroughly enjoys his jumping phases. He is a very sweet natured horse to have around the yard and loves cuddles and treats. He placed second in the 2star national championships in the Autumn and had very competitive runs in Kilguilkey and Ballindenisk international. Looking forward to producing him further up the levels.

Greenhall Granuaile

Owned by Joan O' Connor, Grainne is a 2014 mare standing at 17hh. She was campaigned successfully as a four year old coming second in the stepping stones to success eventing league. She won the five year old section of the league this year and followed this by winning every Rds Qualifier she contested. In the Rds itself, she produced the highest marked dressage test. A little unlucky in the show jumping but absolutely amazing in a big atmosphere in the main arena placed Grainne in 13th position.
Grainne qualified and competed successfully at the Burghley Young Event Horse Class which was held in September. She set an all time record of the lowest dressage score in eventing ireland and possibly worldwide after scoring a 6.5 at Tyrella earlier this year. Grainne is now in foal to the fantastic stallion Livello. Looking forward to seeing her progency in years to come.

2015 gelding by Creevagh Ferrom Larry is perhaps one of the most talented horses i have ever ridden. Owners by Wendy Harris and I, Larry will be aimed at the Lyon d'angers young horse world championships in France later this year. Having only started eventing this year he has really lived up to his name and proven what a class act he really is. He has progressed up to ei110 with many wins and placings along the way. He recently placed second at Millstreet International in the cicyh2* class. Such an exciting horse with a very bright future ahead of him.

The little pocket rocket that is Harry. 2016 gelding, standing at approx 15.3…Harry has it all. A homebred five year old gelding by Carichello, Harry oozes presence, he moves, he jumps and he is a great character around the yard.
Harry is out of mare Dee Mac who evented very successfully up to three star level. He is an exceptionally talented horse. He competed in the Stepping Stones To Success league as a 4 and 5yo placings on numerous occasions and regularly achieving one of the highest flatwork marks. He has fantastic paces and an excellent jump and is sure to excel in any sphere.
Harry has been on several show jumping outings with both myself and headgirl Emily and cross country schooling sessions. He has competed in three Eventing Ireland events at ei100 and has proven brave and honest to a fence over very tricky tracks.
He is such a fun horse to ride and gives endless number of fun days whilst being very competitive. I really think hes such a cool dude of a horse and will be a proper eventer.

Oreo was recently purchased in Sligo. Bred by Jim Tempany Oreo moves, jumps and looks so pretty too. He is a really fantastic five year old. He loves to jump and does it for fun, similar to Harry he competed very successfully in the stepping stones to success league as a four year old and then the youngster sj tour. He will make his Eventing Ireland debut shortly.

Arcracking seven year old mare, Lottie is by plot blue and is bred perfectly for Eventing or show jumping. She could go all the way in either discipline and is a really talented horse. She’s super brave and gives a fantastic feeling cross country and super careful and endless scope for show jumping. She has gained 46 Eventing points to date and has progressed up the levels quickly and confidently. Her record speaks for itself, numerous wins and placings, she’s very consistent and takes everything in her stride. She has moved up to 115 this seasonand placed second and first in her last two runs. She then progressed on to Millstreet International where she finished in second place in the cic3*s. Lottie is currently being aimed at L'yon D'Angers young horse world championships.





Tullabeg Buzz

Buzz is a relatively new recruit to the yard. He is a 2015 gelding who is a great character around the yard. He started off his eventing career at ei100 and has progressed up to 2* international. He placed fifth at Milstreet International 1 in the cicyh2* class. He is an insanely talented jumper and jumps for fun. Hes careful and quick and does a very pretty and accurate test. Buzz really is proof that good things come in small packages.

I’m absolutely ecstatic to introduce this special boy, a beautiful 2016 gelding, Diamond Fusion aka Gorgeous George. he’s grey and handsome so what better name than Gorgeous George? This boy really has the whole package. He moves, jumps and is super sweet. He started eventing this season and has produced seveeral double clears with two wins and numerous placings to date.
Watch this space, He’s definitely going to be a special one, the treasure you would find at the end of a rainbow.

If ever i hada horse that i thought was destined for Burghley and Badminton, this is it. Arlo is a gentle giant, he stands at 17hh and has all the qualities and traits of a top event horse. He moves, jumps and is a really powerful horse. He progressed very successfully through the stepping stones league as a four and five year old becoming the five year old champion this year. He is currently competing at ei100 with much success. Regular double clears with wins and placings. Arlo has been nicknamed Awesome Arlo and he truly is awesome. Im very excited to see what the future holds for this special boy.

A 2016 gelding, Bobby joined the yard earlier this year and has quickly become a firm yard favourite. One of the sweetest horses you will ever meet, he loves cuddles and attention. Not only is he one of the most affectionate horses, he is also one of the most talented. He has a fantastic technique over a fence (those knees :):) ) and tremendous paces. He made is eventing debut recently and scored a 24.5 and 19 in his first two events following it up by super double clears. He really is a fantastic horses and will have a very exciting future ahead of him.

Jenny joined the yard earlier this year. She is a sweet natured and talented mare with a fantastic jump. She stands at approx 16.1hh. She competed very successfully in the 5yo stepping stones league and has started her eventing career at ei100. Jenny has produced three double clears to date with a first and second place. Shes very sweet on the ground and easy to handle in all ways. She really is a pleasure to have in the yard and ride every day.

Note: Stella has been selected for Gorsebridge Go For Gold Sale which takes place this Autumn.
As her names states, this special mare really is a touch of quality. A 2014 mare, Stella joined the yard last year and has gone from strength to strength. Stella has exceptional movement and is rarely out of the 20's in her dressage. She has jump and gallop to match resulting in several wins culminating in a second place at Milstreet International in the cic2*l.
